Thank you for prayer. Truly, I believe it’s how she got any sleep, through her pain. As a mom, I appreciate you more than words can say! Interestingly, I felt a real conviction to pray specifically for protection over her in my prayers with her before she left for work yesterday. We joked about “well, what happened to that?!” In all seriousness, the LORD protected her! We found out this morning that if her break had been 1/2″ closer to her toe, she would have had to have surgery! One half inch. dude. We are so very thankful, and grateful, and YES, believing He protected her! She has a beautiful blue cast on, and when I left to run to the office real quick, she was asleep. I had fixed her a little lunch, and she was worn out. So thankful for rest for her.
AND, hopefully, her cast will be off, and she will be completely healed, for our next wedding.
oh! And her daddy told her it was “no chore weekend” for her. So, she’s got that going for her! :)

Thank you Lord for answered prayers! I was also hopeful that the orthoped. could see her today!!! I didn’t want her to have to wait until Monday. Praising Him for the 1/2 inch that is keeping her from having to have surgery, pretty blue casts and for the precious mom who takes such very good care of her sweet Sara. Hopefully this weekend you all can sit back, relax and catch up on some movies! Love to both of you! Mw
Well, I should certainly hope she wouldn’t have to do any chores! My husband didn’t have to do any chores either, when he broke his ankle and I spoiled him rotten. In fact, he had to take, I think, it ended up being, 2 weeks off from work. One of those weeks, we’d already planned as a staycation week (good thing we weren’t planning on going anywhere anyway) but then he was still in too much pain to move after that week, but then, he did have to have surgery, right away, actually. They had to give him morphine to keep him comfortable while he waited for the surgeon and he was transported via ambulance. I met him at the hospital. And actually in the end it ended up taking 3 surgeries to fix him up and he really hasn’t exactly been the same since. It was a bad break. His foot was in a rather unnatural position to say the least!
